Recently four drug addicts robbed one of the Orthodox temples in Archangelsk oblast of the Russian Federation. Young heroin addicts searched for money to buy dope and decided to rob the church. As three guys and a girl entered in the church they took holy relics, several icons and tens of church candles. Trespassers took dozens of silver crosses that were assigned for future congregates.
Before police captured the robbers they managed to desecrate the holy relics. Drug addicts rubbed the holy relics to powder trying to make a blunt so to smoke it further. As criminals later explained, they were expecting ‘the Holy Spirit to come and help them to get rid of drug addiction’.
However four drug addicts went to prison instead of getting rid of drug addiction as the church guard noticed them and called police.
